Also, if you are a mountain bike rider, you have to check it the trails they started West of town. To get better trails I had to go to Chattanooga or up to big South fork state park.
Personalized service was provided that helped my wife and me decide on a couple of bikes. Being new to the sport we had many questions but the owners were patient with us and spent two hours assisting us on a Saturday afternoon. Two weeks later we are still extremely satisfied with our purchase.

After all this he only charged me twenty bucks in labor and thirty for a new chain. Sparta really lucked getting someone like this to run their local bike shop.

Had bike trouble while I was in town visiting family. I had my local bike shop in Florida look at a problem I had with my chain popping off. They replaced the cassette and chain. When I got to Tennessee to ride, the chain was still popping off and ended up breaking (due to incorrect assembly). Dan offered to repair the chain and diagnosed the real problem with my bike (chainring was bad). I asked him to replace the chain because I had no confidence in it. He did that and patched my bike up temporarily until I could find a new chainring. This saved my trip and allowed me to get in some great miles in the mountains.
