Awesome place for hiking. There are few other smaller falls and great overlooks on the way down. But, the hike back is uphill(more than 1500ft). So, be ready for a great workout on your way back.
Bachelor party backpacking trip with some great friends. Awesome trail for a group of 6. Camped at Big Laurel Falls and day hiked the rest of the trail to the Caney Fork where we fished and caught several red eye bass and even a 3lbs small mouth!
One of the best White County has to offer. 4.5 mi down-and-back trail along some of the most beautiful land around. WARNING: parts of the trail are quite strenuous. Be prepared.
Georgeous waterfall and overlook over the mountain. Easy hike for about 2 miles, but gets more challenging if you want to go further, so it can be a good hike for people of any experience level.
Outstanding hiking area. The trails are quite difficult at times and can be treacherous so this is best for experienced hikers. Some of the most beautiful sites I have come across. There are three waterfalls, Cascades, Bluffs and a small River, and numerous caves. There are many different spots to camp. And a few locations for delicious clean drinking water. The entire hike to Virgin Falls and back can be done in one day while also seeing each of the other sites. However, it is best to give yourself 2 to 3 days to really be able to explore the entire location.
