The area is really pretty. The RV camping facilities are nice, albeit a little tight. There is a nice swimming area. The bathroom facilities are very clean.
We got lucky but ended up with a beautiful Camp spot directly on the water. It was a wonderful place to take our kids. They had the cleanest showers I've ever seen at a campground. We will definitely go again. If you have a camper, the best camping spot is number 7. It has a beautiful view of the sunset on the lake.

We camped at site 14 with our Class B Roadtrek for 3 days during and after the 2017 solar eclipse. That site had a perfect amount of sun light and shade for viewing with our telescope and relaxing. It also had a short flight of steps down to the lakeshore where we launched our kayak. It had a large picnic table, a fire ring/grill and a camp kitchen area. The bathrooms and showers were clean and private. The volunteers were very friendly and helpful. And the lake was beautiful and must have been quite clean as it didn't have that awful smell some freshwater lakes do.
