Remote site that is a beautiful park with cave fed waterfall in a natural sink. Temperature drops 10 degrees in summer as you descend into the sink. You can wade and play in the falls but be prepared for some clear 60 degree cold cave fed water. The water disappears into the ground as abruptly as it appears. It can be found again by hiking across the sink and climbing 30 minutes down in the cave across from the falls. There you will find another subterranean water fall deep under ground. Be sure and check in with the fall creek falls park rangers for permission to access the cave. Be respectful to the plants and animals as the site hosts some endangered plants and the cave hosts protected migratory bats certain times of the year.

It is a very short trail to the nice waterfall and cave in a protected natural area. you can extend the hike to about 3km/2 miles by adding a further exploration to the Ryland Cascades.

Excellent hike through the enormous cave! Very easy to navigate and the waterfall in the back took a little climbing to get to but so worth it!! Be sure to pull a permit from the rangers at fall Creek falls.

Beautiful location, easy to follow directions. Waterfall was gorgeous, and the cave fun to explore. Need flashlights/headlamps and great shoes for the cave. There is a Waterfall about a mile back inside the cave. Waterfall outside is recommended for children, the cave is not. BEAUTIFUL!

I loved this place. It was quiet and secluded. The waterfall was beautiful and the cave had a light fog over it. I'm planning on going back when I can explore the cave more.
