I fell while on a hike in the area and thought I had fractured my right wrist. We went to the ER in Sparta and were seen immediately. I had
x rays and my fears were confirmed. We were in and out in 45 minutes. Everyone we encountered were great.
Treated my mom like a pill shopper. Dr. walked away while she was talking to him about the problem and told her she needed to "stop coming to the ER" for a simple headache. Took her to Cookeville, and she has a pinched nerve in her neck. I wouldn't take a dead dog to this place now. The nurses are fantastic and deserve to work for better doctors than they do. St. Thomas promised to make care better, but it has gotten worse.
My granddaughter burned her fingers on a heater when she fell and grabbed it trying to stop the fall. The nurses and doctors were awesome! Very friendly and helpful. They went above and beyond to help her. The hospital was clean and everyone really cared about getting her fixed up.
I've been here with my sister since 4:30. She got here at 3:30. Its now 9:30. She just saw the doctor and is waiting again. Not a life or death situation just a cut .

My grandma had pneumonia for 3 weeks and she was really sick and they didn't do anything for her. they only gave her some medicine for a headache and she didn't even HAVE a headache! they treated her like a druggie.. and the dr said to her dr that her ear was hurting and all he did was roll his eyes! HE DIDNT DO ANYTHING!!!!! that made me mad.. in summary go to FastPace or Cookeville they will treat u better. .
